The North Shore United Way supports specific programs that are addressing the most pressing community issues and needs. The NSUW is where the community comes together to help local children, youth and families in ways that create a brighter future for all.
Our approach to creating long-term social change is distinct from that of other single-issue agencies. It means we tackle difficult issues in an integrated way, recognizing that we can move the dial further when we address emergency needs and root causes as well.
North Shore United Way's 2011 grants impact 26,000 children, youth and families on the North Shore.
