2010 Campaign Beats 2009 Total!
We did it! We raised more money this year than last year! With our new and innovative "Match" Madness program where a very generous group of donors offered to match every dollar raised in March, we were able to beat our campaign success of last year and award even more funds to 22 agencies.
With unemployment and underemployment still high on the North Shore, families and children still need our help. Our extraordinary team of campaign leaders, including honorary chairs Ann and Steve Dodge, Lighthouse Committee chairs Seth Ward and Mark Johnson and Community Campaign chairs Joe Lumino, John Maihos and Ruth Pino, inspired us all to find new and creative ways to increase donations and spread the word about the needs families face. As a result, we had many "firsts" - first time donors, first time employee campaigns, first time matching program. It was truly a community-wide effort and every community will benefit.
