Volunteers Trained to Evaluate NSUW Grants

Allocations Volunteers

Over the past two months, NSUW has trained over 60 local Allocations Committee volunteers to work with us in our review of annual NSUW grant applications.  Click here for a list of 2011 grants, vetted by last year's Committee.

 

New Women in Action Initiative

Our new Women in Action initiative has already raised over $25,000 to support local programs focused on childhood obesity and expanding access to nutritious food and activity for underserved children.  Our next event is February 16th.

 

Annual Campaign

The NSUW Campaign this year, with a goal of $1.26 million, focuses on the core building blocks for a healthy community: Youth & Child Development, Financial Stability and Health.  The Campaign runs from September 2011 - April 2012.
